The IKEA Septim Lamp

*UPDATE* It's listed for $19.99 at my local IKEA, and at the time I called they had 5 left (very few). The woman suggested I rush in if I wanted one. I didn't, but I might tomorrow. If I don't want to keep it I can return it or sell it, but at least I'll have it.

The rumor in the "blogosphere" is that the IKEA Septim light is on sale in-store, but only in white, for $2.99. The black one is still available at the regular price of $24.99.

I luuuurve the shape, but I'm not sure if it's an appropriate size. I hate the (lack of) color, but I can paint it. (In fact, I have half a can of appropriate formula paint in the basement in a cheerful red... PERFECT!)

Time to make a phone call and check it out.
