New House Stuff

I heart my new house!

It's slowly coming together; there are boxes all over, and they've been diminished to "boxes here and there"... Rob's office is the biggest mess, but all his stupid toys are up on shelves IN HIS OFFICE where they belong (and I don't have to look at them). It's hot; we bought window units today, but they're too heavy for me to put in by myself, so I have one more drippy-with-sweat day to endure.

The cable, you may recall, was supposed to be in on the 8th. We went back and forth with the mother-fuckers, and we have it. I can't even tell you the entire story; it would take too long and it's boring, and it's OVER finally. But it was really annoying while it was going on.

We have ants.

I've made close to a dozen Ikea trips, and plan on making a few more.

I love the green. With the curtains and the bed spread, it's really fun.

I'm pretty sure this time that I'm going to keep it.

The dog sleeps on the couches when we aren't looking.

I bought a set of couches at a yard sale; they're bright yellow and look pretty with the blue wall in the living room. Now, they are yellow with dog hair. I don't appreciate the dog hair part.

I'm tired.
