Look What I Found: Bags for Zaza

I have been blogging on this blog for four years. Yipes!

Rob sent me the link to a site called Bags for Zaza. It is a project by conducted by a woman named Jennie, who is using up her enormous pile of scrap fabric to create messenger bags to sell. Each is $25 (plus shipping) and 100% of the profits go to helping her brother-in-law and his family raise money to adopt a little girl from Columbia.

All of her bags are made from repurposed materials. From her website:

We consume a lot and we throw out a lot. If I run out of fabric before this project is over, I will NOT buy new fabric. However, I will scavenge yard sales and second hand stores and do my best to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Payment goes through paypal.
