Easy Does It

I'm so glad I'm almost done with Starbucks; I'm so tired! I'm going to continue working at the theater and work on some other stuff, too. Most important is getting the house settled. I want to make it neat and clean, get up all the shelving and art work and settle the closets and things that get neglected. There are maintenance things to be done, too, that have been difficult to schedule with everyone gone all day. Things like getting rid of the gigantic pile of tree branches that Ray (my sister's fiance) made in our yard when he trimed our trees, and getting attic fans put in so my office doesn't get to a gillion degrees by noon.

I've developed a sort of system for keeping on top of everything that needs to get done around here, but when I have weeks like this week, where I'm working a lot of long hours at Starbucks, everything falls through. Yesterday I worked from 4:45 in the morning until 1:15. (I got half an hour lunch which I spent writing yesterdays quick blog entry). I slept after work until 6, and then mushed around until 8. So my day at home didn't really start until then, when I found the energy to do some laundry. I went to bed at twelve, so I had only four hours to enjoy my fiance and get some chores done. Seriously warped.

I'm looking forward to cleaning up the house and chilling out with my new Netflix subscription. Pass along your movie recommendations!
