I'm Being Productive Again!
Good idea: Not working the shift at Starbucks I was offered today on my day off. I thought it couldn't hurt to pick up an extra shift from 7 - 2, but I didn't accept and ended up getting a ton of stuff done around the house instead.
I went to my mom's house to make gazpacho soup, because she has a food processor and you need to puree the veggies. It came out spicy.
I went to the library and looked through their collection of wedding magazines, because I don't have nearly enough of my own...right.
I cashed Rob's piggy bank and would up with $360! I totally had him beat though when I cashed in mine a few months ago and wound up with over $600 to spend when we first moved into the house. I bought a lot of Ikea shelving.
I made a trip to the grocery store, and was depressed because Rob and I always go together, late at night when there are fewer people. Today it was croweded with people who were, sadly, not Rob, mostly: creepy kids (I hate other people's children), loud obnoxious old people, and teenaged girls dressed like sluts being dragged along by their ugly mothers (People! Makeup and hair conditioner go a loooooong way! It seems like every middle age mother had bad skin and short, fried, over-dyed icky hair. Lest you think I'm being cocky with my 24-year-old skin, allow me to point out that MY mother doesn't look like you, and she is an over-50 smoker. Geesh!).
Laundry... ugh. I have to go change over a load.
I went to the post office and got stamps.
